 I
grew up with my four siblings on the same farm in south-centeral
Minnesota that my great-great-grandfather homesteaded with his twelve
sons when they immigrated from Germany. I attended
the University
of Minnesota, Morris and graduated in the Spring of 2006 with B.A.
degrees in both Physics and Mathematics. I met my wife in Morris and we
were married just before moving to Saint Louis for me to attend
graduate school. We completed the current configuration of our family
in the Spring of 2007 by adopting a coonhound/lab which we named Copper.
