Dr. Floss' current research
focuses on using trace element (e.g., the rare earth elements) microdistributions
to understand the origin and evolution of a variety of
differentiated meteorites. Other work includes experimental investigations
designed to elucidate the nature of isotopically anomalous material observed
in primitive extraterrestrial
