the Chair, course may be repeated for credit.
Spring 2006: History of Science - Seminar course
that focuses on the discoveries and lives of famous scientists, the
collective scientific knowledge gained by people in the course of
every-day life, and current scientific debates that impact society
on a local and national level. Weekly discussions will focus on reading
materials in primary literature resources, in addition to web and
print resources from the St. Louis community. Materials will be compiled
for use in the classroom and for lesson development for science teachers.
